Established grape growers, new growers, and backyard gardeners alike join University of Minnesota Extension to learn about basic and intermediate grapevine dormant pruning techniques.

This workshop will equip you with basic knowledge about grapevine anatomy and growing culture, pruning young and established grapevines, and how to repair prune winter-injured grapevines. A pre-workshop educational video, multiple hand-outs, group discussion, and hands-on practice pruning grapevines will all be included in this event.

Plan to bring pruning shears if available. Some shears will be provided for participants to share as needed.
